Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe, the masterminds behind Basement Jaxx, first started making music together in London during the 1990s acid house movement. Though the group's music was referred to as "house" during its formative years, the band has evolved and has started to incorporate various technological advances into its sound to stay relevant in ever changing electronic music scene.
