Billy Ray Cyrus is a country/singer from Flatwoods, Kentucky who might best be known for his hit 1992 song "Achy Breaky Heart." The best selling song in the United States in 1992 and the first single ever to achieve triple platinum status in Australia, because of "Achy Breaky Heart" and its accompanying video line dancing experienced a tremendous surge in popularity. Having since maintained an active music career, Cyrus has also appeared in several movies and television shows including Mulholland Drive and Hannah Montana with his daughter Miley Cyrus.
