Rachel Parris is a BAFTA-nominated English comedian and musician. She began her work as an improviser in 2007 and forayed into musical comedy in 2010. She was a part of the improv group Austentatious and has performed across the UK. As a part of the group, she won the 2014 Chortle Award for Best Character, Improv or Sketch Act. Her solo musical comedy shows have won critical acclaim and have been featured at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe and Live at the Apollo. Her first acting gig was on the BBC show BonBon post which she was also seen on The IT Crowd, Plebs and Count Arthur Strong. In 2018, Parris won Female First's Comedian of the Year title. Her other notable works include Richard Osman's House of Games,I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue and Would I Lie to You among others.
