Marlene Kuntz

Influenced by bands like Sonic Youth and My Bloody Valentine that emerged out of the noise rock genre, Marlene Kuntz helped put a unique Italian spin on the noisy music form. The band was formed in 1987 and though it shares a certain fondness of loud and oftentimes indiscernible noise, Marlene Kuntz sounds more refined and polished than its noise rock peers do.
