Black Whales

Black Whales is a psychedelic pop-rock band from Seattle that creates a particular style of music the band likes to call "blood pop." This newly devised genre seems to capture the sound of the band perfectly--when one listens to the Black Whales, one hears the jangly influence of classic pop-rock, permeated by a sense of dark romanticism, creating a complex, if not seemingly ironic listening experience.
