Gifts From Enola

Haling from Harrisonburg, Virginia, Gifts From Enloa is a post-rock band whose members started playing together while in college. Belonging to a genre known for its chilly emotional distance, Gifts From Enola makes music that's both intensely personal and emotionally direct. The band's sonic aesthetic draws as much from the traditions of psychadellic rock and metal as it does from post-punk and jazz. In a concerted effort to move beyond the tropes of the post-rock genre, the band has, on more recent releases, taken to including vocals on top of it's usual instrumental madness.
