Austin, Texas band My Education could be described as a cinematic, experimental rock band. The group makes instrumental, complexly arranged music that borders on the symphonic. At times as beautiful and melodic as great American folk or bluegrass and other times lonely like the American west, My Education engage with a truly dynamic emotional range in their music, giving them their cinematic musical quality. My Education has also done work with hip-hip duo Dalek, only pushing the group's already-exploratory style into new realms. My Education's fifth studio album is titled Sunrise, and features elements of the original score to the silent film Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans.
