Though he was born and raised in southern Maryland, Shuttle delved into the electronic music scene in Boston and absorbed the culture and sonic creations like a dry sponge soaks up water. With a unique sound that blends bass music with more listener-friendly trance and electro sounds, Shuttle has been turning heads since 2005, when he first started releasing music and playing shows. After the prominent electronic label Ninja Tune picked him up, his recognition really began to grow, and in the subsequent years, Shuttle has truly grown into a notable fixture of the electronic music scene.
