The Mother Truckers

Formed in San Francisco by veteran musicians Josh Zee and Teal Collins, who later relocated to Austin and recruited two more members, The Mother Truckers is an Americana group that has jumped to the forefront of the scene in the live music capitol. Utilizing male-female harmonies, honky-tonk twang and grungy guitar riffs, the groups falls squarely between the alternative country and rock genres. Since forming in 2002, The Mother Truckers has secured a residency at Austin's renowned Continental Club and the respect of multiple local music critics.
