Wolf Gang is the moniker of UK musician Max McElligott, who creates indie pop music with the help of a full-time three-member backing band. With a synth-based, new wave-inspired sound that marries electronic elements with a brash, dramatic singing vocals, the band gained popularity with by playing shows around the London area and eventually touring the UK with the likes of Florence and the Machine and Miike Snow. For Wolf Gang's critically acclaimed debut album, 2011's Suego Fault, McElligott contributed all the instruments including piano, drums, keyboards, trumpet, glockenspiel, guitar and bass, in addition to all the vocals heard on the record.
