Leslie Sisson

Leslie Sisson is an indie rock singer/songwriter from Brooklyn, New York by way of Austin, Texas whose rise to prominence on the independent music scene began during her stint as the lead singer/guitarist for The Wooden Birds. Since branching out on her own, Sisson appears to be having the time of her life showcasing the talent and raw musicianship she was able to build upon as a support musician for several bands throughout her career. However, what critics and fans refer to as Sisson's "secret weapon" is her voice, which Pitchfork has described as a "subdued Stevie Nicks"--no easy feat.
