Suicide Commando is a one-man band comprised of Belgian electro-industrial artist Johan van Roy. After he began experimenting with electronic music in the mid-1980s, he adopted the Suicide Commando moniker and released his first demo tape in 1988. He dropped his debut album Critical Stage, with Off-Beat records in 1994, followed quickly by 1995's Stored Images. The later record earned Suicide Commando widespread attention and a solid fan base within the industrial music audiences. He has since continued to craft albums with his signature heavy sound, including his 14th studio album, When Evil Speaks, which was released in 2013.
