This annual festival is held each January in honor of the patron saint of Mallorca, and features a range of colorful processions and parades. Highlights include one parade featuring the legendary crocodile/dragon Drac de na Coca, and another with two dancers known as cavallets performing a traditional dance with wooden horses. On the evening of the 20th (the saint day itself), you can catch some of the best fireworks on the island by the promenade. Several days later the festivities culminate with the infamous Correfoc, where costumed devils wielding torches run through the streets.
