Maurice Hines is a jazz singer from New York City who initially began his entertainment career at the age of five as a tap dancer. Eventually transitioning to acting, Hines would appear in a number of Broadway productions including Guys and Dolls, Hot Feet and The Girl in Pink Tights. A life long jazz aficionado, Hines dipped his feet into the jazz world in 1982 when he released his debut album, I've Never Been in Love Before.
