The Men They Couldn't Hang is a folk punk outfit from London. Formed in 1984, the band released nearly an album a year until its dissolution in 1991. The original lineup, minus drummer John Odgers, came together with Kenny Harris on drums in 1996 and wasted no time hitting the road in support of its comeback album, Never Born To Follow. Staying true to its reputation as studio wizards, the band went on to released an impressive stream of albums, including 1997's Big Six Pack, with Demon Records. The Men They Couldn't Hang continues to blend roots rock, classic punk and folk on releases such as 2014's The Defiant.
