The Portland, Oregon based indie pop outfit Blind Pilot like to ride bikes. The group also likes to play music. In a ploy to combine these two love affairs, the group set out on a West Coast tour that would be half bike tour and half legitimate music tour. The group stopped off in a bunch of heady towns like Seattle, Portland, Eugene, Eureka, Santa Cruz, and so forth on this bike tour and it was considered a rousing success. This brash but humble approach to touring is paired by the group's confident yet coy style of song writing. The band is labled a pop group, but with a strong folk back bone the group's songs are modern working man tunes that are easy to relax to.
