Located just 31 miles south of Vail at an amazing two miles above sea level, this mining town is a well-maintained location in Colorado. It also celebrates the famous Leadville Boom Days, an event that celebrates the town's Old West days. The people of Leadville are so true to this tradition that the event is actually noted by the U.S. Library of Congress as a National Local Legacy. Leadville is a land full of mining areas, and one can even get a splendid view of Mount Massive from Harrison Street when in downtown Leadville. Call for additional information.
