The Nieuw Galgenwaard (New Galgenwaard Stadium) in Utrecht underwent major renovations and since has had a capacity of over 24,000. Initially used for greyhound races and athletics, now on non match days, concerts are held frequently. Home ground of local football club FC Utrecht, Stadion Galgenwaard also has a beautiful building which houses world class restaurants and business meeting rooms with great views of the Utrecht skyline.
