From being the military base for several troops during Civil War and the World War II in the 1920s to its growing economy in the present, Sedalia has come a long way. This historic town demands a visit from tourists for the various attractions like William H. Gentry House, Missouri, Kansas and Texas Railroad Depot, Daum Museum of Contemporary Art and Sedalia Public Library. The Missouri State Fair held here in August is something to look forward to for its lineup of exhibitions, concerts and crafts shows that add color to the festivities.
