The imposing glass and steel building standing at the Town Square is a buzzing oasis of cultural activities in the city. Established in 2012, De Kom has quickly established its presence in the city's cultural landscape. Theater performances constitute a major chunk of the center's programming, attracting amateur as well as established artists and groups. Apart from this, the center also hosts concerts and dance recitals. For those who wish to hone their artistic talent, De Kom has an all-encompassing arts center, offering a multitude of courses and workshops for all age groups.
