Established through the efforts of Klaus Hanssen and Joachim Georg Wiesner in the 19th Century, the Nygårdsparken is a scenic public garden in the heart of the city of Bergen. The garden was designed by S. Lund Leiberg following the style of a traditional English garden. It is composed of lush greenery with trees and flowers and a small lake that adds to its beauty. There is a small kindergarten for children on the property as well.
