Darker My Love

With a band name derived from a song by the punk rock group TSOL, and with a front-man who formerly played for the hardcore punk band The Nerve Agents, one would, understandably, expect Darker My Love to create music at least in the punk family. However, the Los Angeles-based five-piece actually plays catchy neo-psych rock, full of fab four-styled vocals and a palatable amount of fuzzy reverb. After forming in 2004, two of the band members took time off to contribute to legendary British post-punk band The Fall's 2007 album, but brought back their honed skills to Darker My Love shortly thereafter and began receiving acclaim.
