Sparrow and the Workshop

Sparrow and the Workshop is a Glasgow-based trio that makes a fairly straightforward style of psych-influenced indie rock. With songs that highlight lead singer Jill O'Sullivan's resonating voice, the band has managed to catch the interest of several prominent music critics--some even giving the band's 2010 debut LP a near perfect score in their reviews of the album. The band has played with prominent groups including The Brian Jonestown Massacre, British Sea Power and The Progues, which has helped introduce Sparrow and the Workshop to a new group of music listeners who might not initially be attracted to the trio's slightly laconic music.
