Talkdemonic

Talkdemonic is an avant-garde/folktronica duo from Portland, Oregon that began as a creative outlet for two friends' enthusiasm for instrumental hip-hop and electronic music. Despite the duo's rather humble intentions at music making, Talkdemonic has become a local Portland legend since releasing its debut album Mutiny Sunshine in 2004 and being subsequently named "Portland's Best New Band" in 2005 by the Willamette Week. Since then, Talkdemonic has led a low-key, though tremendously successful, career as roving experimental artists, and the duo is consistently chosen by renowned indie bands such as The Decemberists and The National to augment their sound on tour.
