Night Ranger is a rock and roll band that rose to recognition with a hard rock style during the 1980s. Hailing from San Francisco, the group earned a fair amount of attention for its debut album, Dawn Patrol, but truly broke through into national audiences with 1983's Midnight Madness, and a streak of radio hits such as "Sister Christian." After various lineup changes and a decline in mainstream appeal, Night Ranger fizzled into the background, only to reunite again with its original lineup in 1995. The group reintroduced itself with a sixth studio album, Feeding off the Mojo, and has since continued to perform and record new material.
