Joe Dolan is a singer/songwriter from Ireland who got his start with a band called The Drifters. Dolan formed The Drifters with his brother Ben, but soon pursued a solo career during the late 1960s as the band began to deteriorate. His easy listening hits such as "Teresa" and "Lady In Blue," propelled Dolan, who was spending the majority of his time touring the world, to international fame. Though most of his most renowned albums came out in the 1970s, including 1970's You're Such a Good Looking Woman and 1975's Lady In Blue, he became one of the best selling independent artists of the 1990s with records such as Endless Magic, which he released on his own record label in 1997. Throughout the 1990s his fame rarely faltered, and Dolan has maintained a dedicated core fan base even after his death in 2007.
