Capone has been renowned for his clever lyrics and gangsta rap. The hip-hop star is more often than not linked to his partner N.O.R.E. who partnered with him under the banner of Def Jam Recordings. Post the split with N.O.R.E, he went on a solo tour and produced various singles and featured on many albums like My World, by Ronald Artest. He also featured "I Need Speed" for Need for Speed Underground 2. He released his first solo album in 2005, titled Pain, Time & Glory.
