Disturbed is a Chicago-based hard rock band that was formed in 1996. While the group is oftentimes labeled as a metal band, the four-piece takes elements from several styles including nu-metal, alternative metal and alternative rock to create an original sound that's well suited for a modern hard rock band intent on pushing the sonic boundaries of musical genres.
