It's hard to describe Cold Fronts. Its front-man, Craig Almquist, uses the term "raw,"tco maybe because they started playing in an abandoned building in Philadelphia, dubbed "Satan's Dorm Room" by the local press. In 2013 the band signes a record deal with Sire Records, a Warner Brothers company, thanks to its memorable performance at the South by Southwest music festival in Austin. Its first album, Forever Whatever, was released in 2015. The band has shared stages with The Vaccines, Free Energy, and The Morning Benders. Almquist cites The Strokes and Phoenix as influences for his music.
