Jay Aston's Gene Loves Jezebel is a result of the split between the two brothers, Jay and Micheal Austin. Their band was named Gene Loves Jezebel but after the brothers parted ways, they reincarnated the band as two different bands. Jay Aston's Gene Loves Jezebel released its debut album Dance Underwater in 2017. The fans of this gothic rock band had to wait 14 years for this album and it was worth the wait. It carries the style and energy that made the original band a popular phenomenon and tops it with fresh and never before heard elements.
