Hunter Hayes is a country music singer/songwriter from Nashville who came into the spot light after being signed to Atlantic Records in 2011. Hayes recevied an accordion, his first musical instrument, at the age of two and by the time he was four years old, he began appearing at local performances and on national television. On his first album with a major label, a self-titled effort released in 2011, he played every instrument and co-produced the finished product with Dann Huff. In addition to his instrument repertoire, Hayes' vocals earned him comparisons to Gary Levox, the lead singer of Rascal Flatts who Hayes had previous worked with. Along with singer and actress Victoria Justice, Hayes recorded the 1984 hit "Almost Paradise" for the 2011 remake of Footloose.
