Kip Moore is a country singer/songwriter from the rural town of Tifton, Georgia, who first started playing music after purchasing a guitar while attending Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Alabama. After graduating, Moore moved to Hawaii where he honed his songwriting approach, in addition to pursuing actives like surfing and backpacking. Upon returning to the mainland, Moore opted to pursue a career as a musician, moving to Nashville, where he spent four years gigging before landing a recording contract. Those years, worked to Moore's advantage, serving as a incubator of sorts and honing his approach, helping make his debut album, 2012's Up All Night, a well rounded artistic piece that was well received both critically and commercially.
