Nicki Parrott

Nicki Parrott is a jazz singer and double bassist from Newcastle, Australia. Initially learning piano and then the flute at a young age, Parrott would eventually head the calling of the double bass and go on to study the instrument at the New South Wales Conservatorium of Music in Sydney, Australia. Parrott released her debut album, Awabakal Suite with Lisa Parrott, in 2004 and since then she has kept active with additional LP releases and a regular performance regimen.
