Rocko Schamoni

Rocko Schamoni is an entertainer, author and musician from Hamburg, Germany. Schamoni's career as a musician began in the early 1980s, when he played in several punk bands. In 1988 he released his first solo vinyl record, followed by many others to be released in subsequent years. His style of music is very diverse, reaching from punk, rock and pop to jazz. Rocko Schamoni is also part of the comedy trio Studio Braun and has written several autobiographical books, including his novel Dorfpunks (Village Punks) which was released as a film in 2008.
