Born in Frankfurt, Germany Maike Rosa Vogel is a singer/songwriter who creates indie folk music. After graduating from Popakademie Baden-Württemberg, Voel moved to Berlin and released her debut album, Golden in 2008. Filled with the delicate sounds of piano, harp and other string instruments, the album offers a quiet brand of indie folk music that covers themes of both political and personal issues. Vogel recorded her third studio album Fünf Minuten, in a matter of days and released the record in 2012.
