Sean Sullivan didn't set out to become a musician, but recorded a 7" for his clothing line S/S Friends, including a copy with every purchase of his line's swim trunks, which were sold in boutiques around New York City. The breezy indie rock laden with reggae-inspired guitars and nods to early dancehall caught on and garnered Sullivan a recording contract with Frenchkiss. Performing under the moniker Sean Bones, the singer/songwriter continued in the summertime reggae vein for his debut LP and made fans out of many prominent critics as well as Norah Jones, who contributed vocals to the track "Turn Them."
