Dance Movie

Led by the reverb-soaked female vocal pairing of Kinley Dowling and Tara Thorne, Dance Movie crafts swooning indie pop from its home-base of Halifax, Nova Scotia. The group primarily operates as a trio, but will regularly utilize the talents of local players and friends who add interesting and quirky musical arrangements to its moody songwriting. Dance Movie has performed at the Halifax Pop Explosion, the Halifax Urban Folk Festival and has had the opportunity to open for popular indie rock groups such as Born Ruffians.
