Blake/e/e/e's (pronounced Blake-ie)music feels truly innovative in a really refreshing way. Somehow they make psychedelic folk with some surprising compositional twists feel intuitive. Their sound on some songs is primarily acoustic with some synthesizers and some fuzzy bass lines for contrast. But at other times they reveal their post-punk side, playing brooding mid tempo tracks with distorted vocals in both English and Italian (they're from Bologna). You probably won't find Blake/e/e/e on mainstream radio stations, but if you find them playing a show, check it out!
