Thieves Like Us

Thieves Likes Us have been compared time and time again to leading electro-royalty like Justice, Daft Punk and MGMT. While the similarities are unarguably there and present in their music, their original sound cannot be disregarded, along with the clear influence they drew from 80's gods like Pet Shop Boys and Joy Division. Unlike many other bands that reign the genre, Thieves Like Us combines mid-to-high electronic beats with tranquil, if not utterly brooding, vocals. Some of the results are strangely danceable, and others simply hypnotic.
