Growing

Originally from Olympia, Washington, ambient and noise band Growing is now based in the indie rock haven of Brooklyn. The group's sound is largely defined by the dynamic layering of guitar loops and effects, developing a kind of wall of sound housing intricate melodies, fuzz, and feedback. The majority of the group's song unfold over 10 minute long periods, acting as kind of symphonic explorations of sound. The group has signed music to Vice Records, Kranky and The Social Registry.
