Imbogodom is the collaborative project of London based-Alexander musician Tucker and New Zealand-based musician Daniel Beban. Tucker, known for his guitar-based drone improvisation, paired up with improvisation/noise musician and sound engineer Beban at BBC's Bush House. The duo soon released its 2010 debut album The Metallic Year, pleasing its joint fan base with a balance of instrumentation and electronic shaping. Imbogodom's experimentation and exploration with noise translates into an ambient, doomwave flavored sound, exemplified on the band's 2012 album, They Turned Not When They Went, which leans toward industrial ambient music with its dark and ominous tones.
