Brian Pyle is a singer/songwriter and musician from Manila, California who creates an experimental brand of psychedelic music under the moniker Ensemble Economique. With elements of ambient, drone and noise sewn throughout his sound, he released his project's debut studio album At the Foot of Nameless Roads, in 2008, offering a signature style of layered, looping field recordings, tonal dissonance and reverberating vocals. In addition to various live recordings, including 2012's Live in London, Ensemble Economique dropped its third LP, The Vastness Is Only Bearable Through Love, in 2013.
