Helheim formed in Bergen, Norway, in 1992. Since then, the band has been rocking hard, with their unique breed of black metal. Integrating Norwegian roots into their music, the group has pioneered a new sound in Viking metal. Mixing Viking imagery, symbols and mythology with the heavy and black metal traditions, Helheim has taken the rock world by storm. They have maintained a consistently loyal fan base in their over 15-year career, with their striking visuals and incredible live performances.
