Ugly Kid Joe

Ugly Kid Joe is an alternative rock band from Isla Vista, CA that is probably best known for its crossover hit single "Everything About You." Formed in 1987, the group adopted its moniker as a spoof of the Hollywood-based glam rock outfit Pretty Boy Floyd. With a quintessential rough around the edges sound, Ugly Kid Joe managed to fit fairly well into the grunge popularity wave of the early to mid 1990s. Though the trappings of band confinement forced the group to break up in 1997, it reformed in 2010 and has maintained a fairly respectable touring schedule since then.
