The Unguided emerged out of Falkenberg, Sweden with a melodic death metal sound. Founded in 2010 by the core group of Richard Sjunnesson, Roland Johansson and Roger Sjunnesson, who were all members of the metal band Sonic Syndicate, the group started its careers with a built in following of tried and true metal fans. The Unguided released its debut album Hell Frost, with Dospotz Records in 2011. After some lineup rearrangements, the band signed with Napalm Record and went on to push its sound on records like 2014's Fragile Immortality and 2016's Lust and Loathing.
