Written by George C. Wolfe, Spunk is a stage adaptation of three stories originally penned by author Zora Neal Hurston. Tales of revenge, redemption and love, the stories, though written during the first half of the 20th century, feel modern and familiar, particularly with the help of the evocative musical narration of blues artist Chic Street Man.
