Hailing from Brooklyn, NY the noise rock duo Hilly Eye is composed of guitarist Amy Klein and drummer Catherine Tung who teamed up while studying creative writing at Harvard University. Inspired by Sonic Youth, Pixies and noise rock legends in the making Lightning Bolt, Hilly Eye released its debut EP Fireworks, in 2010. The band first captured its experimental noise music on a full length recording in 2012, titled Reasons To Live. The record demonstrates Hilly Eye's aggressive but dreamy compositions and characteristic alternations between loud and soft sounds.
