Even though the disco genre rose, peaked, then fell decades ago, there are a few electronic bands keeping the dance-friendly style of music alive. One of these groups is the Australian-based outfit Miami Horror. Primarily the musical endeavor of producer/multi-instrumentalist Benjamin Plant, Miami Horror combines house beats with disco guitar riffs and sunny vocals to create a uniquely characteristic sound that's easy to like. Formed in 2007, the band has experienced a fairly prominent following in its home country, and since the release of its boisterous debut album in 2010, the band has been reaping the benefits of international fame.
