The Laurels

The Laurels is a neo-psychedelic rock band that emerged out of Sydney, Australia in 2006. With a rigorous touring schedule that lasted throughout the late 2000s, the band earned widespread acclaim and critical accolades for its live performances before having released any recorded material. By the time The Laurels dropped its debut EP Mesozoic, in 2011, it had established an international fan base with its signature layered guitar work. The band tightened up its reverb-drenched compositions for its 2012 full-length effort, Plains, offering a polished but textured version of its neo-psychedelic sound.
