Miss Kittin

Both in her solo work and in her collaborations with fellow French DJ, The Hacker, Miss Kittin is a driving force in the electroclash movement. Born Caroline Hervé, Miss Kittin started her musical career as a traditional house DJ but quickly evolved into a full-fledged electronic music artist. Her trademark style is to create austere, electronic soundscapes and coo detached, vocoder-enhanced vocals over them to create music that's simultaneously alluringly sexy and mysteriously remote.
